Fear v.s. Faith

This week in Creative Writing we have been talking a lot about what is rational and irrational fears. The topic of fear is quite interesting and I want to talk about it a little more.



                                 

Fear is just a lie we tell ourselves. We aren't good enough to ask this girl to the dance. We are not good enough to write about beliefs. WE FEAR THAT WE WILL FAIL. Who cares if you fail as long as you learn from that failure and move on.

Remember we are not perfect. WE all fear. Now the ultimate question is how to combat fear.

THE ANSWER IS FAITH.

FAITH TRUMPS FEAR.


                   

Faith in yourself destroys fear. Faith cannot coexist with fear and fear cannot coexist when you have faith. Faith is the antidote to fear.

Faith in a God helps us understand who we are. We are children of our Father in Heaven and when we realize that we have no reason to fear. WE know that life goes beyond the here and now and life moves on. Fear is only temporary while faith is forever and eternal.

Believe that you are loved by God. For when you know that God is on your side you need not to fear. For everything will work out for your good. God can do anything and will help you if you have faith and pray for his guidance.

THERE IS NO NEED TO FEAR. LIFE IS TOO SHORT FOR US TO FEAR WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT.

Belief: A Human Trait

I have thought a lot recently about what makes us human? One trait that I have been thinking a lot about is belief. Belief is knowing is something is possible.



I believe strongly that belief is a human characteristic that sets us from other things. We believe in the impossible. We believe in religions that bring meaning and light to our lives. Most of all we believe in our ideas.



Imagine if there weren't any humans on the earth who believed that they could do the impossible. Where would the human race be now?

There would of been no Steve Jobs or Bill Gates. We would of never built houses. Instead we would be like our primeval ancestors, living in caves and hunting for food.

How grateful I am for the ability to believe in myself and more importantly a God.

It is my personal belief that believing in a God is essential to our existence here on earth. We need answers we can't anywhere else but religion. Science cannot answer all questions. WE must find the answers for ourselves. I have found my answer in my own life. I encourage you to do so also. You will find a power in your life that you had never seen before.

I COMMEND YOU TO BELIEVE. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND IN A GOD.

Drugs is Life

Drugs is life,

We are all addicted,                                              

addicted to being loved.

WE crave it,

need it,

and yearn for it.

Everyone needs it,

I need it,

you need it,

and your neighbor needs it.

LOVE is essential,

no matter what your mom says,

it is essential for me,

it is for you.

Love is a drug, 

we all need it,

and die without it.

Life ? Death

LIFE

What is life all about? What are you supposed to do in this life? Do you have a purpose in life? These questions and more I have constantly asked myself on a day to day basis. These questions are very important in our lives. Do you ask yourself these questions? If not you need to start.

If you want a life full of purpose and power you need to ask meaningful questions in your life. These questions cannot be answered by anyone but yourself. No matter how much I know about life I cannot answer all the questions in your life. I can answer some but ultimately it is your sole responsibility to find the answers to your own questions.

Before I end talking about life I want to say that life is about creating a new you. You don't need to go find yourself because you have already found yourself. What you really need to do is create yourself into an honorable and lovable person.

We cannot change our past but we can change our future.

DEATH

Is death the end? Do we never live again?

I want you to know that death is not the end. It is merely a graduation. THERE IS LIFE BEYOND DEATH.

If there was no life after death than what would be the point in our lives now.

I have had an experience awhile back. My great-grandmother was living with us. She was 100 years old. One day she was not doing so well. She had a seizure and we had to carry her back to bed. There in that little room I saw her spirit leave her body. She died right before my eyes. I could not believe it.

What happened afterward is that I felt a strong assurance that she was still alive and that this life wasn't the end.

If you have had someone close to you die, you must know that they live on. That they are still there and do exist somewhere in our lives. 

DEATH IS NOT THE END!!!!
